 Jewel of the Day Tarot Insights

 Energetically, The Moon card describes the Pisces nature, driven by the number 9 (which is aptly ruled by the Moon.)  This combination highlights the underlying unconscious patterns and programs that drive our habits, reactions and recurring life cycles.

 If The Moon has found you today, it brings with it the message to, “look beneath what appears on the surface.”  It can highlight that all is not what it seems to be in a current situation.  Often feelings of disquiet and confusion accompany this card.  These disconcerting emotions are actually part of your intuitive language.  In this case, the unconscious mind is waving a red flag and saying, “Dude, somethings going on here…”

Sometimes The Moon can depict vivid dreams, or perhaps someone’s imagination is just running riot.  In this case, the guidance here is, “bring these concerns into the light of day.”  Which is just another way of saying what Carl Jung’s says in his quote above, of making the unconscious – conscious and regaining control.

For me today, The Moon represents literal patterns and programs.  I have been nutting out some obscure problems I’ve been encountering with my website and social media posting.  I had to reset some permissions and unentangle some dated underlying tech stuff.  I think the word reset is a useful one for when The Moon is about.
