Jewel of the Day Tarot Insights

 Classic teachings refer to this energy as the Primeval World of Water.  Energetically, this card illustrates the Heavens.  It seeks to describe the space in which all of the Planets including Earth reside.  The Heavenly Womb.

The Womb card depicts a nurturing, yet restricted, place in which to grow.  There is a feeling of timelessness present.  This energy feels murky, unclear and confusing. 

 If this card has found you today, it brings with it the message of time being at a standstill.  It seems no matter how much you desire change; there will be no movement.  This card brings with it the advice to accept that it is not in your best interest to move forward right now.  It encourages you to surrender to the moment.  This card brings with it the realization that life has offered you a chance to reflect, and to see things from a different point of view.

Womb contains a powerful desire for positive change, combined with the inability to make any changes!  Circumstances seem to refrain and inhibit, any and all, actions.  Time is in limbo…

This feels frustrating to say the least!  I think of it as Spirit taking control and popping me over on the shelf.  Just so I don’t do anything I’ll regret later.  It’s like The Divine has given me a time out, in order to see things differently. 

The circumstances ultimately will change but will require a different perspective and approach.  Sometimes, (not always) the Womb may indicate a complete reversal in direction.  Going back to something…

On a dark day, Womb may see self-sacrifice and martyrdom.  Often focusing on unrealistic and intangible goals resulting in delays.

I have experienced the Womb’s energy before, so I truly know that this frozen moment has been offered to me as a form of protection.  Today, I’m feeling grateful for its shelter as perhaps without it I may have made a mistake…
