The author shares their deep understanding of the Tarot, providing an explanation of its links with astrology, numerology, the elements and the Qabalah, clearing up several misconceptions, The book follows a practice- based structure to guide the reader through Tarot readings, which spread to use for which specific purpose, and how to interpret the information and choices the cards present. This book offers a different approach to understanding the Tarot cards meanings. Learning what makes up each cards interpretation really made a lot of sense to me. Rather than trying to remember all the interpretations and learn them by heart, this premise has given me a tangible way to reach a real personal connection with each card. The Story of Flow is full of colour charts and card illustrations which I found very helpful for learning. This is a beautifully presented book and the best book I have read on the subject. This book follows on from Tarot- The Story of Flow, and provides an integrated framework for understanding key components of the Tarot that describe our basic nature using the Planets, Zodiac Sign, Numbers and Elements. The author has constructed a Basic Nature Analysis to assist in understanding our psychological desires and motivations, our characteristics and how we express ourselves using the tarot. It is most helpful to have the tarot deck with you while reading this book. I found the authors descriptions of each component to be clear and sensitive explanations of positive and negative attributes. The details provided in this book, combined with the information contained in Tarot – The Story of Flow, guide you to an accurate understanding of your own characteristics and support greater clarity of interpretation of a tarot reading. The author focuses on the practical application of the tarot in everyday life to help us better understand ourselves; our emotions, relationships, ambitions, fears, and how we express ourselves and what we need to be aware of one a dark day’. It contains well written accounts of each periods Basic Nature Analysis and list of keywords to assist making up your own interpretations. JewelBox Tarot – Classic Deck
This deck is beautifully illustrated and uses a lot of the Rider-Waite-Smith classic symbolism. The use of colour has enhanced the difference between the Suits very well. Colour has also been used to highlight the different energies at work within each card. This deck also groups the decans of each zodiac sign together with unique borders. The printing and finish of this deck is of a high quality. It is a must have deck! Grace88
